David Hargreaves has published a second report for The National College on the development of a self improving school system.
‘Leading a Self Improving School System’ encourages sector leaders to embrace the opportunity to co-construct and share innovative practice, arguing for an approach to raising standards that is driven by both local and national alliances.
The paper highlights the critical role of Teaching Schools, recommending an approach that fosters healthy competition at local level whilst developing ambitious national networks to build capacity across the sector.
